Reserve Your PlaceSo many of us grew up without the mother we needed - without the attunement, the love, and the safety of being truly seen.
That absence does not just live in the past. It shapes how we see ourselves, how we relate to others, and how far we allow ourselves to go in life.
But the story doesn’t end there.
Perhaps you don't think of it as a mother wound. But some of these may feel familiar:
✦ Never quite feeling good enough, no matter what you achieve
✦ Shrinking yourself to keep the peace or avoid taking up too much space
✦ Struggling to ask for what you need and feeling guilty when you do
✦ Feeling unseen or emotionally alone even in close relationships
✦ Overgiving or overfunctioning in order to feel loved, safe, or worthy
✦ Second-guessing yourself and losing trust in your inner knowing
✦ Holding back your fullness because being fully expressed never felt safe
If some of these feel familiar, they may be rooted in patterns you learned long ago to stay safe, loved, or connected.
And this follows us into our relationships, our work, and our sense of what we are allowed to want and become.
This retreat is an invitation to gently see what has been there, honor its impact, and begin to heal, not by searching outside yourself for the mothering you did not receive, but by reconnecting with the deeper source of love, truth, and care within.
What You Will Experience
This is a live, intimate retreat that weaves together trauma-informed teaching, self-reflection, somatic awareness, and spiritual insight to help you understand the mother wound and begin relating to yourself in a new way.
✦ Understand the mother wound more clearly and how it can shape self-worth, relationships, visibility, and belonging
✦ Recognize the patterns you may have learned long ago to stay safe, loved, or connected
✦ Explore the personal, cultural, and generational dynamics that have shaped your relationship with yourself
✦ Meet the parts of yourself that adapted with greater compassion, tenderness, and truth
✦ Begin reconnecting with the Divine Mother within as a source of love, wisdom, and inner care
✦ Leave with a deeper understanding of yourself and a meaningful reflection or practice to carry forward after the retreat
Who This Is For
This retreat is for women in midlife who sense there is more available to them: more truth, more self-trust, more freedom, more peace, and who are ready to understand what may have been standing in the way.
You do not need to have had an obviously painful or distant relationship with your mother to recognize yourself here. You only need to feel the impact of something missing, inconsistent, or never fully received.

Hi, I'm Sujata!
I didn't find myself until everything fell apart in midlife. A divorce, PTSD, and a journey back through childhood trauma I had never fully named led me to an unexpected discovery: a mother I had carried within me all along, waiting to be found.
As a trauma-informed practitioner with over a decade of experience working with women, I bring together science, somatics, and spirituality to guide women home to themselves. This work is not separate from my own healing. It is lived, embodied, and deeply personal.
